Search by Keyword
The first thing you will need to do is sign up and log in at auctions.GoDaddy.com. You will then be able to search the domains by keyword. Once you are in the auction area, change the “most active” selection to “expiring”. You can then type your keyword in the space that says “find your domain”. Some of the domains you will be able to buy immediately. Others require you to place a bid.
Search by Age
The value of aged domains is a topic of debate in the internet marketing world. Many people think that owning a domain with age gives you an advantage in the search engine rankings. Sort by Traffic
Would you like to set up a site that already has traffic coming to it? Once you do a search on GoDaddy auctions, you can sort the results by traffic. If you click the traffic heading once, you will see the domains with the lowest traffic first. Clicking the traffic link again will show you the domains with the most traffic first.
There are many things to consider when choosing a domain name. You may be able to find an exact match domain that has never been registered before. On the other hand, there may be an established domain name that contains a good keyword, has age, and already gets a high volume of traffic. After considering your choices, pick the domain that you think will work the best for your upcoming site.

First of all, I really like your domain name. In internet marketing, I have found that many of the preferred domain names are already taken. Domain auctions give you the opportunity to registar some that were not available before. The age and traffic that comes with it can be considered a bonus.
